It seems like so much of my daily life hangs in the crux between these two descriptors, "sacred" and "mundane": folding laundry, washing dishes, cooking dinner, grocery shopping, eating breakfast, taking a walk....and the list goes on. So much of what I do during the day, can be half-way mindless work. And yet, each of these activities holds the possibility of sacredness when met with the blessed presence of Jesus. How I long to live out my day where He dwells--to enter into conversation with Him, hear Him speak, or simply re-direct my absent thoughts toward His feet. I don't want to live my life half-asleep. I want to live my life alive.
